

Dr. Wayland, his wife, and his lovely daughters returned to Alaska in 2007 after living for four years in Okinawa Japan. Dr. Wayland has served the United States Air Force Dental Corps for the last eight years as a Prosthodontist. Being back in Alaska is exciting for him and his family. He hails from the Kenai Peninsula and is a graduate of Homer High School. Experiencing all that Alaska has to offer once again is a thrill for him and his family.
Dr. Wayland completed his specialty training in prosthodontics in 2003. He graduated in 2000 from the University of Lousiville, School of Dentistry in Kentucky. As an undergraduate student, he attended Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology with Chemistry minor.
Dr. Wayland is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP). This is the flagship organization for the ADA dental specialty of prosthodontics.

Dr. Wayland is also a member of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO) as well as the International College of Implantology (ICOI), both being national and international organizations dedicated to the development and use of dental implants in dentistry.
Dr. Wayland has dedicated his education, training, and practice experience to the patients whose needs surround the preservation and replacement of their teeth.
