Dental Hygienist

Shanan has lived in the valley 18yrs and has been in the Dental Field for 8yrs as a Certified Dental Assistant and Licensed Dental Hygienist. She graduated UAA earning an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene, licensed in Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide. She is PALS and BLS certified a member of the ADHA and ASDHA and currently divides her time between pediatric and adult dental practices where she enjoys the best of both worlds believing a visit to the dentist is not about what you can endure! Shanan strives to give the most current reliable information regarding dental hygiene and its practice to her patients while utilizing kid gloves making every appointment better than the last. She has a common sense approach to life, loves to laugh and can say open and close in 5 different languages.
